Sailing ship summary
You will have the time of your life on the sturdy two-masted clipper with Rob at the helm. Let the wind blow through your hair and relax like nowhere better than on the water together with your family, friends, colleagues or classmates. In addition to time to relax, there is of course also the possibility to make an active trip. The two masts make the ship easy to sail and you, as an inexperienced sailor, will be able to sail the right course together with the crew.
Depart from the old harbor town of Kampen and then moor in the nicest villages in the area or take a trip on the Wadden Sea or the IJsselmeer. Do you choose to let the ship fall dry? Then you will have the opportunity to enjoy all the beauty that the Wad has to offer. Walking on the mudflats, spotting seals or relaxing on the deck with a glass of red wine. Not bad right?
Sailing ship description
The spacious ship has room for 40 day guests. In addition, there are 30 places to sleep that are divided over 10 cabins. There are 5 double cabins and 5 four-person cabins. There is a sink in each cabin. There are also 3 showers and 4 toilets spread over the ship.
When the ship was built about 120 years ago, the Avondrood served as a cargo ship. Since 1987 the ship has served as a charter ship. And since 2006, many innovations have taken place on the ship. For example, the cargo hold was converted into a cozy living area with lots of wood and copper. The comfortable cabins are ready to receive her guests and let them experience an adventurous but unforgettable time on the water.

Sailing ship owner
Rob
