She was built in 1915 as a freight ship and now she sails the Wadden Sea and IJsselmeer, creating everlasting memories for countless guests from all over the world. Sailing on such a historic vessel is a true blessing. We offer both day trips for up to 36 people and multiple day sailing cruises for up to 20 people. Sailing on this amazing clipper from 1915 is something we would recommend to anyone who loves sailing. With almost 26 meters in length and 6 meters in width this is an impressive ship. It also has a 130 horsepower engine to keep moving in case there is not enough wind. You dont need to worry about seasickness because the ship offers a lot of stability. You can also go fishing while on the ship, something we definitely recommend.

Due to a number of modifications (for example additional winches) it is possible to sail the ship well with a relatively small crew. For the sportive sailors, however, there is still plenty to do and we also like to get up our extra sails.

The layout of the ship

At the front of the ship you will find a large common room with all the necessities like tv and stereo or you can simply enjoy your company here. There is a well-equipped kitchen with oven, 6-pit stove, freezer and fridge. The ship contains seven bedrooms, three 4-person cabins and four 2-person cabins. All cabins have a large sink with running water, a porthole that you can open and central heating. There are two bathrooms and two toilets on the ship.

On deck you will see that our ship has a wide gangway and a lot of space on the deck itself, making it easy to get around. There is a special sheltered space to sit with a rain/sun tent, large pillows and fleece blankets for your convenience. We also offer a gas-BBQ so you can even grill a fish if you catch one.

How to get there

Harlingen can easily be reached by both train and public transport. It’s about half an hour away from Leeuwarden, the largest city in Friesland.

About the area

Harlingen is a town in Friesland right on the water. You can go see the defense structures in the city centre. You can also find many old structures like the original canals and warehouses here.

From Harlingen you can go sailing on the Wadden Sea right away. It is just a short trip to get to the IJsselmeer for an unforgettable cruise on this man made lake in The Netherlands.

    We went sailing with my relatives on Aart his ship and we couldn't have been happier. He really showed us what sailing is all about and we all loved it.
