Meridiaan

Climb aboard and sail across the IJsselmeer, the Markermeer, the Frisian lakes, and the Wadden Sea. Learn about the nature and the waters you'll sail along with enthusiastic skipper Freek. He enjoys teaching you to sail and guiding the impressive sailing vessel across the water together.

Sailing the Meridian can, of course, be done entirely by manpower, but the ship has many modifications to maximize sailing performance with minimal effort. The electric centreboard and winches for operating the jib and jib make sailing much easier, making sailing accessible to everyone.

Prefer to relax? There's certainly room for that too, whether it's enjoying the sun on deck or the cozy cockpit with its open kitchen and bar.

The Meridiaan can be booked for a day trip, accommodating up to 35 people. For multi-day trips, the Meridiaan can accommodate up to 24 people.

The departure port of the Meridian is Enkhuizen, but other departure and arrival ports are possible on request. Depending on the boarding location, the skipper will give you more information about parking facilities and give route instructions.

The sailing areas of the Meridian include the IJsselmeer, Waddenzee, Markermeer and Frisian Lakes. Discover the charming villages that are located there and enjoy a drink and a snack on the cozy terraces.
