Get on board and sail across the IJsselmeer, the Markermeer, the Frisian lakes and the Wadden Sea. Learn about nature and the waters you sail on together with enthusiastic skipper Ruud. Ruud likes to teach you how to sail and to lead the impressive sailing ship over the water together.

Sailing with the Meridian is of course possible purely on manpower, but the ship has many adjustments to ensure maximum sailing with less effort. The electric sword and the winches for operating the jib and jib make it a lot easier for you. This makes sailing accessible to everyone.

Prefer to relax? Of course there is also room for that, enjoying the sun on the deck or in the cozy cockpit with open kitchen and bar.

The Meridian can be booked for a day trip, with room for 35 people. During multi-day trips, the Meridian offers sleeping accommodation for no less than 24 people.

De Meridian is the perfect accommodation for outings with family, friends or colleagues. Skipper Ruud likes to teach you how to sail and tells you all about the sailing areas (IJsselmeer, Waddenzee, Markermeer, Frisian lakes). There is also enough space on deck of the two-masted clipper to relax in the fresh air. The Meridian can be rented for one-day trips with no less than 35 people or for multi-day trips with accommodation for 24 people.

On board there are four 2-person cabins and four 4-person cabins. Each cabin on the Meridian has its own sink. In total there are three showers and three toilets. After a long day of sailing, you can enjoy a freshly tapped beer from the professional beer tap installation. A delicious meal can be prepared in the kitchen, equipped with an oven, refrigerator, freezer and four gas burners. Prefer to barbecue on the deck? That is possible, with the barbecue that works on gas. There is also a TV and a music system on board.

Energy left after sailing? Then it is possible to go canoeing in one of the two canoes. There is also a small sailing boat (optimist) present. Safety above all, there are 15 life jackets and a bathing ladder available.

The departure port of the Meridian is Enkhuizen, but other departure and arrival ports are possible on request. Depending on the boarding location, the skipper will give you more information about parking facilities and give route instructions.
