On a day trip you are even welcome with a maximum of 40 passengers. Spend the night on the Unicorn with no less than 26 people in one of the 13 cozy double cabins.
You can freshen up after a long day on the water in the bathroom, of which there is one between every two cabins, so a total of 7 bathrooms. The spacious lounge is perfect for playing games with each other and dining, but also for quietly reading a book in a corner. The fully equipped kitchen leaves you free to prepare a delicious meal. Unique to the Eenhoorn is, among other things, the professional beer tap installation that is present together with the music installation, everything to make it a successful evening.

Discover the entire IJsselmeer, Markemeer and the Wadden Sea during your adventure on this sturdy two-masted clipper from 1903. Skipper Jan Willem will teach you everything you didn't know about nature and the environment. Moreover, as a true Frisian, he knows how to show you all the beautiful places in Friesland.
Always wanted to learn how to sail? Then you've come to the right place at the Unicorn. Help hoist the sails and be the skipper of this robust clipper for a while. Everything is allowed but nothing is mandatory. Would you rather relax? Then there are plenty of places in the cozy saloon or on the deck to relax and enjoy the rushing water and the endless horizon around you.
Safety is of course a priority for skipper Jan Willem. De Eenhoorn is well maintained and has a high railing. All safety equipment for adults and children is provided. Think of life jackets, an AED and a swimming ladder.

Jan Willem
Eigenaar en schipper Jan Willem is een Fries in hart en nieren. Het zeilen is hem met de paplepel ingegoten. "Al op mijn zevende zeilde ik in een klein zeilbootje op de Friese meren en sindsdien ben ik dat altijd blijven doen. In de vakanties en in de weekenden: altijd was ik op het water te vinden".
Na een loopbaan in de bouw en projectontwikkeling besloot Jan Willem in 2010 zich volledig toe te leggen op zijn passie, het zeilen. “Het is de combinatie van het bouwen aan de relatie met mijn gasten en het zeilen wat dit beroep zo machtig interessant maakt”.
Jan Willem wil zijn gasten laten genieten van het vrije gevoel dat het zeilen je geeft. "Met zijn allen de zeilen hijsen. De ongereptheid van het weidse water. De mooie havens aandoen. Genieten van de natuur."
